The Motherload of all 'Widgits'

If these guys had the marketing resources of Firefox, they would be just as big. You know all those ultra cool extensions that Firefox has? There are about 800 of them now right? Well.. Konfabulator has been around quite a bit longer than Firefox, and it has a few THOUSAND of them. Except they call them widgits, and they are more desktop oriented. You can scatter them around the desktop, keep 1 or 2 on top, or push F8 to briefly bring them all to the front. They are categorized quite a bit better than the Firefox extensions, so you won't have quite as hard of a time finding them (Although I have run across a couple that were mis-categorized). Also, note that the point of these widgets is that they were originally intended to be platform independant. 99% of them function on both Win and Mac machines. If there are any extensions that you have been hoping to find for Firefox that hasn't come down the line yet, you simply MUST check out these websites.

More Goodies you never knew about

This is probably the first off shore goodie I've ever recomended, but it's worth it. WinBar is a toolbar, that lives all on it's own. I keep mine bolted to the top of the screen. What it does is monitor everything on your computer that you could ever want a monitor for, with graphical displays. CPU, memory, disk usage, network throughput, Wifi signal strength, uptime.. the list goes on and on. It's what the task manager would be if it were actually useful. It also has some 'bolt on' type functions like an atomic clock synchronizer, rss feed, stock ticker, and all sorts of other things. If you have EVER wondered why your computer is running so slow, click the link. You'll thank me later. :)
